Ok im really starting to get stressed at this dedi now its seems 1 issue after anouther i now have this issue set attrs for /aquota.user: permission denied its locked down for some reason ive even been on centos irc channel and they tried to help me and i got this reply,
well, whoever you're hosting with doesn't use a default kernel for some reason. they've jumped several versions and built in grsec support.

does anyone know how i can change this files permissions i know its unsupported but jesus your system installs the centos and cpanel this isnt my end cpanel even looked into it and have now washed there hands with it

OVH uses a custom kernel, that may be why you are getting the issue in the first place.

I think what hes saying is to firstly run the command quotaoff, "mount -o remount,noquota /var"

And then run /scripts/initquotas

I don't know that command but if you are using CentOS you can disable quotes using the link below, shows how to enable, disable them generally system wide and shows you how to enable/disable them just for a specific filesystem.

many thanks in the end i got a company in that also do all security and hardening of servers they sorted everything for me as well as hardening and securing server
