Hello all,

I just finished making a tutorial for setting up DNS servers on Windows servers. It took nearly 3 hours, so I hope everything is right!

I hope it is of use to people. Be warned however, its not for the simple minded!

Thanks for this tutorial Andy, i do have one suggestion, could you add a section on adding a subdomain? e.g. http://something.yourdomain.com

Its easy, just add an A record like you did with www, smtp and pop.

I'd rather know how to do it on Linux.

You want to be using djbdns (because its so lightweight).

If your using debian etch as your OS then follow this tutorial:
