The vRack is the only way to create a vLAN between servers. Do check the instructions on this guide:

http://help.ovh.co.uk/VrackInfrastructureServer

If you want to setup vlans only within one server, you may be able to use vSwitch, but between servers, you will have to do it using vRack, that's the only way to do it.

Thanks

Hi

You have submitted the 2 servers into the vrack already.

You just need to define the IP within the vrack. The guide explains the vrack IP configuration.

Thanks

Hi

Please provide me with your NIC handle and I will see where the issue is.

The vRack LAN is created from your OVH manager as it creates an PN service where by you would associate the servers into the vrack.

Thanks

Danny

Thanks danny,
I already read through all this.
My first problem about this vrack is what vlan id should i have to assign in my V Switch.
I think that vlan id need to be given from OVH networks department. There is not much information about this.
If this "vrack" is a sort of VRF for each customer it is something else, but I dont think so.
I am still waiting for a replay on my open ticket ##88926.

Thanks to all

Hi

There is a guide for the OVH vRack.

You can find the guide at:

Thanks

Hi. This forum is mostly for help between users. Even whe OVH support staff frecuently have a look here, if you want more help from both OVH staff & other users, you may explain your problem, so everyone can give you a pointer base on knowledge and experience. Even OVH staff won't have a way of associating your post/forum account with a ticket sent via manager.
