For the OVH backup storage of 500GB the backup will be done via the eth0 port, if you wanted to use the secondary port of eth1, you would obtain another infrastructure server and submit this into the vrack.

The alternative solution in this is case is to get the bandwidth upgrade on the server itself or to take advantage of the burst rate on the server or to do the backups during non-peak hours.

I am pretty sure If I bought my own backup server in the OVH range and added the two servers to a Vrack I could backup from one to the other using a private IP range on the 2nd card. My questions is....

Is there a way to do the same thing using the ftp/NFS backup space provided with the server so I can totally free up the main network card for public traffic?
