yes, keep in mind that, if your order has been held for security reasons, it might be delayed. So take that into account when you need to give ETA to your own customers.

We don't give SLA on delivery times , as there are also other considerations that have to be taken into account.

Hi Neil, Thanks for your reply - its 39152423 and 39184507. I have literally, 10 minutes ago, just had an email from 'Danny' asking for the documents I provided at 09:30 this morning, nether the less it feels like I am actually getting somewhere.

I hope you can understand my frustration as I was under the impression the virtual servers would be setup upon cleared payment, I am sat 'twiddling my thumbs' waiting to start work - not to mention umpteen calls from my client, whom I can't provide a realistic ETA which is completely unacceptable. I understand it appears to be you companies policy to take ID from all business customers, but you should make this clear from the beginning.

Got the email through this morning at 09:16 requesting documents, which I promptly sent across. Two hours later and I am no further forward

Validation is the process by which they validate your real identity. You should receive an email asking you to send them a scan of some identity document (ID or passport) and a proof of address(public services bill, in most cases), so they know you really are who you claim to be. Validations at OVH take from 1 to 3 business days in average, but there's no official ETA, as validations are processes by queue, so real processing time will depend on how much validation requests they get.

By current time, I think they may nt be working on UK/IE support, so the earlier you could get your account validated is tomorrow. VPS servers usually get good delivery times on validated accounts, or once the account is validated.

yes its my first order, although i am beginning to wish i hadn't, it should be made clear that you wont expect to use it for (3 hours and counting). I ordered it in Roubaix, so it shouldn't be effected by that. What does validation days exactly consist of?

If this is your first order, your account may need validation. You will shortly receive an email with instructions on that.

Also, according to OVH tasks, VPS Classic orders on BHS are suspended until tomorrow, due to reprovision of infrastructure. If you have ordered a VPS Classic on BHS(Canada) you will have to wait until tomorrow anyway, not counting validation days.

Hi I purchased two VPS's (separate orders) the first being at 5pm. It took untill 6:30pm to get a receipt and the money has been removed from my paypal. Please provide me with login details for server, I was under the impression the vps would be setup instantly or I would have went elsewhere.
