On a Server Core installation, there is no Explorer, and no option to install it. However, I let you the link to download the corresponding management tools, so you can manage your server from any Windows 8 or higher computer.

That's a Server Core installation. It's the same as a normal Windows Server 2012 R2, but without explorer and some other GUI tools. Most configuration is done with PowerShell or from a remote Windows computer.

Hi!

I'm beginner. I have install the o Windows Server 2012 R2 in user control. But when I connect with Terminal Server (windows 8.1), the screen in the server is black, I can see only the 2 windows (cmd and something like dedicated's setup). I can open programs (like .txt) with cmd, but I can't find the explorer.

How solved this?
