Update: ESXi v6.0 Beta also installs as RAID 1.
ESXi on SYS-IP-4 or SYS-IP-5 will RAID1 work?

To answer my own question...
When the ESXi v5.1 and v5.5 installation is done via SYS Manager, the RAID 1 is used by default. Have yet to try the v6.0 Beta.

Can any of you fine folks confirm if they have ESXi (v5.1 and up) running on SYS-IP-4 or SYS-IP-5 where all works fine with RAID1?
