Just to make it clear, the DDOS is not a firewall, it just filter some traffic patterns. Are you sure the attack was network-based? Maybe it was application based, where the real impact was on an application that became unavailable for a while because it could not handle the load.
No it is not layer 7

It is layer 4 UDP most of the time & sometimes TCP

I see that you have logged an incident ticket with our technical team. I see that your latest correspondence with them was relating to stock levels for the MC-32 server. I would like to advise that the incident ticket was a technical ticket and our incident team do not have stock levels for those servers.

I am looking into stock levels for that server and I will contact you as soon as possible.

2- Also in order datacenter I choose Western Europe (Roubaix, Gravelines) I want my server in "Roubaix" Datacenter because it is less in Ping for my worldwide clients ( most of our clients is in middle east e.g. Saudi Arabia)

I have already sent this message to Mr.Octave Klaba in his twitter as message to verify this

If you have Anti-DDoS PRO i suggest you create custom firewall rules to block the type of attack you're seeing, that's what a lot of users do and hence why PRO is more beneficial, the OVH standard configuration can't block every attack.

Regarding number 2, when you place the order you have one or more options to select datacenter. Sometimes, you only get the option "The fastest delivery time in Europe", which will automatically assign your order to the first datacenter where your requested server model is available, among all datacenters in GRA, RBX, and SBG. Sometimes you do get specific datacenter locations as options; in such case, your order will be assigned to the first datacenter at that location which can handle your order.

I have issues:
1- My problem not solved about DDOS and moved to MC-32
Game Range
2- I received the server (MC-32) but unfortunately not expected datacenter (RBX) as I request and thus I ping the
server & gives me higher ping that the current server
~20ms difference ( it is located in GRA & I want RBX Roubaix) If you can recommended me or make me test a RBX or SBG for better ping (latency) I will be appreciate it


3- I paid via the auto renewal my current server (SP-64 2013 ) for a month because I wait from 4/8/2015 to move my server to
the suggested (MC-32) Game Anti DDOS server & without
solving my current incident ticket

I have much work to do ( moving & setup the server myself)
& I really need your assistance to fix the above 3 Issues,
i want my server (MC-32) to move to the best datacenter
that is lowest ping for me & my clients lived in Middle
East countries & I want
only to pay for 1 week for this current server
(SP-64 2013 ) until my files moved to their
without paying that 1 month ( refund 3 month & pay for 1
week) also I'm a customer for many months here & I was a
customer in SYS about 6 months and moved because of DDOS
to OVH

So I'm over 12 months in both OVH & SYS ranges upgrading
all the time for best anti ddos
