Hello,
today I made several tests with new VPS range and I am really impressed.
The comparison is not one to one relevant but you can get some idea what to expect.
ServerBear benchmark report with VPS Cloud 1 2014 range /price 10euro/
AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 6386 SE 2x cores 2800 MHz
UnixBench score: 1481.3
I/O rate: 40.0 MB/second
Bandwidth rate: 11.8 MB/second
ServerBear benchmark report with VPS SSD 1 2016 range /price 3 euro/
1x Xeon E5v3 @ 2.4 GHz
UnixBench score: 1304.7
I/O rate: 133.0 MB/second
Bandwidth rate: 10.7 MB/second
As you can see the IO rate is much better and the UNIX bench almost close. If we test between cloud one ranges both, we definitely will have better performance than cloud 2014 range.
Also I made some simple PHP tests and results are like below:
--------------------------------------
| PHP BENCHMARK SCRIPT |
--------------------------------------
Start : 2015-09-24 14:06:05
Server : VPS Cloud 1 range 2014
PHP version : 5.6.13
Platform : Linux
--------------------------------------
test_math : 2.037 sec.
test_stringmanipulation : 1.920 sec.
test_loops : 1.234 sec.
test_ifelse : 0.614 sec.
--------------------------------------
Total time: : 5.805 sec.
--------------------------------------
| PHP BENCHMARK SCRIPT |

Start : 2015-09-24 16:03:41
Server : VPS SSD 1 range 2016
PHP version : 5.6.13
Platform : Linux
--------------------------------------
test_math : 1.110 sec.
test_stringmanipulation : 1.092 sec.
test_loops : 0.760 sec.
test_ifelse : 0.438 sec.

Total time: : 3.4 sec.
As you can see the new range definitely performs much better
