Again, at the time I ordered the server there was nothing indicating that the server was for temporary use.

No warnings were given before the suspension. I checked spam folders etc theres nothing.

This is enough bs for me, I give up.

7 months later on 1 May 2015 game servers were OUT OF BETA. They were renewable so I moved my server to a GAME 1 server and have been using it since.
Was this an informal arrangement or do you have an invoice for that new non-beta server?

yes, it's possible now to keep the Game Servers as long as you want.

The Beta is still kept just to show that they haven't been tested enough to make sure that there is no driver issues with that hardware. Any issue, please report.

This has been OVH since 2013, making up and change the rules as they go along.

I thought that the new CEO would've improve OVH by now, sadly, we are not seeing any.

Sys need to explain why they suddenly claimed the game server was in beta, when as the OP said the beta period ended months ago and there's now nothing on the website about beta or any restrictions. It doesn't make sense.

Not really much that can be done in regards to your data, the server would of been completely wiped by the automated system not long after it was cancelled.

The main lesson you should however learn is that backups are very much a necessity.

Unfortunately, it will not be possible to reopen your server and to get back your files as your server is already cancelled.

Hello everyone, here is my story. On 14 October 2014 I got my first server from Soyoustart, it was a 16G E3-1225v2 server. What I really wanted was a game server but it was in beta phase. You couldn't renew these servers.

This is what it looked like back then

7 months later on 1 May 2015 game servers were OUT OF BETA. They were renewable so I moved my server to a GAME 1 server and have been using it since.

At the beginning of this month, even though i have auto payment option enabled the server wasnt renewed therefore it was suspended. I thought there was an issue with my credit card so I asked SYS support to try charging my credit card again.

The response was;

1 hour later i recieved this e-mail;

Dear customer,

An email indicating the end of the beta period concerning your GAME server has been sent to you, that's why it is not renewed.

You will not be able to get back this server as the beta is closed and it not possible to renew these servers.

The beta is closed therefore I am not able to renew my server. Is this a joke?
Beta phase was over months ago!

My server was suspended without a warning, I couldn't get a backup. I lost my server, I lost my files.
Ive been a loyal customer of ovh for years and this is what i get. I feel betrayed.
