Can not get internet from VM

I just got a dedicated cloud based on Vmware 6.0. But i have trouble getting a internet connection from the VM's. Do i need to do anything to assign the IP,s to the dedicated cloud network ?
I got this ripe blok
* Réseau* * *:*x.xxx.197.32/28
* Netmask* * : 255.255.255.240
* Broadcast* : x.xxx.197.47
* Passerelle : x.xxx.197.46
Trying to config the network on a centos vm with somthing like
IPADDR=x.xxx.197.35
NETMASK=255.255.255.240
GATEWAY=5.xxx.197.46
Am i doing something wrong ?
