I just called the support and was told that someone just forgot to click a button.. Which is really contradicting to what we were told over mail (You have to ignore this order and make a new one), which costed us another 5 days or so... It is now activated, but was just horrible (and slow) communication overall
At least it is over now..

Order 45796682 was activated. Pushing the other order would just cause even more confusion :x

we have tried to pay for a VPS since 10 weeks ago by now.
After ordering, a confirmation of identity was required and delivered. Unfortunately the order was never activated for payment, even though we were told so. After inquiring again, it was recommended to just make a new order and ignore this one, which of course would lead to having to confirm identity again and go through the whole hassle of the past 2 weeks, since this is the first purchase and no user account has been created up to this point.
Is this just a huge misunderstanding up to this point or are we really asked to do everything again, after already waiting for almost 2 weeks?
