I totally get why OVH may want to manually check new customer payments or even payments on a new card....

If I already have multiple servers, have been a customer for multiple years, have used the same card multiple times for payments...

Why do you need to manually authorise my payment? It now means the plan for setting the server up this weekend won't happen....
