I have setup a Virtual Switch and these are the IP addresses -



I've shared the main connection with the switch and it looks all good, I only have one IP address assigned to my dedicated which is fine because I was wanting to share that IP with virtual machines. The DHCP fails on the Debian installation and I manually input the IP addresses shown above and I have no connectivity, any ideas guys?

If I do the same setup on my home computer the virtual machine gets assigned a local IP address but still uses the external IP, On the dedicated server this isn't possible for some strange reason. Could it be because I only have 1 IP address in my pool and the DHCP won't assign one?
