100% sure, the price for license for VPS and dedicated server is different, if you don't know difference don't bother to carry on with OVH, as it's unmanaged service.

Vps cPanel license mean, for KVM, XEN and OPENVZ and not only for openvz. We use cpanel license for our kvm plans without any problem.

cPanel for VPS is for OpenVZ only. You should get a standard cPanel license.

When ordering cpanel license, I see cpanel for vps in drop down list. We are using proxmox with kvm (not openvz), so will cpanel for vps also ok with proxmox kvm (also knowns as vds) ?
