Good Evening

I have now tried about 15 times to reset my root password for my VPS.

I have followed these posts:

https://forum.ovh.co.uk/showthread.p...=root+password

https://forum.ovh.co.uk/showthread.p...=root+password

Another serious issue I have is that WHM/cPanel CPHULK Firewall/ Brute Force attack Firewall is enabled and it is set to a very high security level that allows MAX 2 failed login attempts at locks the IP out for 69 days.

I have tried with many different IPS using "privatetunnel" VPN service and I still cannot get my password changed.

I am in need of assistance urgently as this is my business's server, and I cannot access the server to complete daily tasks.

This issue has been running now since Friday. Today is Sunday. I called the helpdesk on Friday - and was told he cannot help me.

I am now out of options. I need assistance to reset this password so I can use my server.

I am happy to pay a support fee if required to get the pasword sorted.

PS: I have entered the server each time into rescue mode to try reset the password and i'm continually unable to sort this out.

I even tried to completely disable CPHULK from restarting when server reboots so that it would give me more changes to try using different IPS but that also failed:

I used:

rm -f /var/cpanel/hulkd/enabled

Please can someone from the support team message me directly so we can get this resolved
