Hi all,

been with SOS for about a year and have a 32gb quad core server thats with vat i`m paying £40.80 a month

As like anything my needs are changing and have a software company about to make me some software for my club membership site.
I said to them, if i get a second server , you will have 1 month to test, debug and get things install and then im move over my software and files from the other server.

So i when to SOS page and see there is now a server with better spec than mine, 3 drives where my has 1 and better cores and is £20 cheaper a month??
So why has SOS not sent out emails saying we are doing deals on this server, or you maybe looking to move, heres are prices at present. Even lower my bill?

There are no contractual obligations for them to do neither of those things, and most companies won't do it either, simply because they'd lose money by doing so. It's your own responsibility to do this, and in the majority of cases it's unlikely that your current bill would be lowered, you've agreed to pay a price and if you're no longer happy with that price then you should cancel the server.
