yeah, centos official kernel is 1000hz, debian(and ubuntu) officials instead are still 250hz
dunno what ovh have put into their own kernels :P

i'm running centOS and my server(s) are flying! 100tic.. low ping like 20-30 (from uk).

ok have been istalled 1000hz throught netboot with ovh managerv3 is that correct? but i still getting same..

are you using a 1000hz kernel?
(preempt and realtime patches are highly suggested too...)

Hello i have kimsufi 2XL with ubuntu 8.04 desktop
running Counter-strike source dedicated server with tickrate 66 or 100 doesnt matter have packet loss and choke .. doesnt matter how many players is on server 20 , 4 or even 1... still packet lost.. if someone can help me with this please reply! ohh yes and tryed to apply high priority -20 or -15 still same..
