You'll find the majority of companies won't publicly list information, simply because it can differ. Large companies such as OVH buy their Hard Drives and RAM in large batches, and therefore you're not guaranteed to get any specific brand. OVH primarily use Intel SSD Drives and HGST HDD drives, although I have Samsung SSDs in one of my servers.

If you want to nail specifications down to specific manufacturers with any provider - Build your own server, it's that simple.

Not so weird.... I've worked with some other dedicated servers providers, and not all of them provide full specs. Most of the ISPs which provide full specs use pre-assembled servers, like HP ProLiant or IBM System X. However, larger ISPs who assemble their own servers, as OVH does, often do not offer such details.

I've sdearched around the OVH website, but it seems like there is not really much information about hardware. However, I've looked in some servers I have, both at OVH & SyS:

- The motherboard brand is SuperMicro on the three servers. The model is X10SRi-F for a EG-32 which was ordered less than one year ago; the SyS server has motherboard model X8STi.
- The HDDs are all HGST
- The RAM is identified as Samsung on the EG-32; on SyS, it does not identifies manufacturer.

I don't have any SSD, so I cannot check it; however, looking at this page, I bet they use Kingston or Intel SSD.

The hardware used for EG-32 may be almost the same as for the SP-32.

What information are you looking for exactly?

Everything, exactly whats inside, what ssd/ram/ manufacturer.

Should exist some kind of specification manual or something more detailed...
there are no specs to be found anywhere.

Is there anywhere I can find a manual/document exactly whats inside it, manufactures, I mean everything. what's the specifications!? Lots of viable info is missing that should be there.. more details!
