password should work. Try to boot the server again in rescue mode.

They says that OS bug and no further information provided. Tried recovery mode but password does not work even the one they sent.

What's the issue? Just a crash cannot cause a full data loss, unless the application has serious problems.
Having used OVH VPS for some years now, I've had no major problems. One or two times, some VPS was rebooted, but there was no data loss anyway.

What was the reason for Crash ? Harddisk issue ? I think you can still recover the data in rescue mode. Have you tried that.

Very bad services of OVH they did not have good servers and have bad support. I have lost my 6 years data due their silly support and very bad service.
