The RPS is a "better that VPS" service. Because we propose the
real CPU, the real RAM, the real network connexion with a shared
storage.

If I read your questions, you understand RPS like "it's cheaper
that the dedicated server". And I don't want to anwser you because
you want the RPS for the bad reasons. And you won't be happy with.

The bandwidth is 1 of the 20-23 characteristics. if you need only
bandwidth, well buy the bandwidth only. and don't use a global
service with 99% of use of 1 characteristics and 1% of use of
22 characteristics. All I can tell you: it's not the service for you.
with all my love towards you: i just want to maximize what I pay for ( and I am not bill gates, thats why Im here). I understand it is a budget product ( I know I wont get not even 1/4 of the 100 mbit connection). Is there any chance you can provide any estimate of teh available bandwidth??

Thanks in advance

Now for RPS, what are the terms? Same as kimsufi SLA Standard or something totally different? If we don't know...we can't use the RPS efficiently.
Thats the idea. Less efficient for you due to being afraid of being capped, more BW available to sell to another guy...

Meanwhile we still aint got proper answers..

OLES: whats the monthly max transfer with rps?? please provide a number in TB. please dont try to fool us with your stories: if you are very concerned about high speeds get a 1 million dollar connection ( or a renault car).

Just this :
Will provide an example to be clear:

Max monthly transfer : 0.5 tb

FYI wikipedia says:

Another more specific phrase used for this meaning of bandwidth is monthly data transfer.
Please dont start questioning about wikipedias reliabilty. I can swear if Britannica Encyclopaedia, Encarta,Barack Obama , Sarkozy or who ever you want tells you so, you wont answer properly

the fact is "it depends". using renault in the city is more easier that
drive a ferrari. if you have your own road, you can drive quickly with
ferrari, because there is no speed limit.

the same with RPS. you have 100Mbps Internet/RPS. But how much do you
have RPS/"filer of data" ? It depends. It depends what are you doing
with your RPS. I propose you "enought" for the price. You shouldn't
read "100Mbps" as "I have to be able to push 100Mbps to Internet 24
hours per day", but "I have enought for the price, I can use more and
I do it, the bill will be the same. no surprise with the money.".
I hate the offers that you buy for 10 and in fact it costs twice,
because of *.

I have no problem to sell the hamburguers in the street. I think there
is lot of invations to create with the hamburguers. I choose to propose
the server. But it's the same problem: the hamburguers you like is the
same and isn't the same as the french or the spainish customers like.
My work is to make the proove that our hamburguers are better for less
money. "better" means nothing. it depends of each customer. After 1 year
spending on this forum and speaking my bad english I begin to understand
what you like, what you need and how much are you ready to pay for. We
will try to explain in a better way what we try to propose. And work
everyday "to propose you more for the same price". What I don't like
right now, is the confusion with 100Mbps. I think we didn't give enought
informations about 100Mbs, about 1Gbps, and you need lot of informations
about the 100Mbps, 1Gbps, what, where and why. It's not a problem to give
this informations. We will do it (2-3 days of work). And will try to
remeber that the Uk's customers love the technical informations
I agree you pay ovh and you want to much for what you pay but as ovh has said kids need to grow up and pay and you will get top service from ovh Must say oles that was nice for the kids in uk asking for to much but its a fact nicely put out oles

we give you the choose: how much are you ready to pay for the service you
want ? one you have the anwser "how much", our anwser is "for the price
you are ready to pay, you get more with ovh". if you consider that you need
more quality or/and more garantee, pay more. in anothers words:
you choose the price, I fix the quality. it means: if you want to fix the
quality, pay the price.
I get your idea and respect it. The fact is that even though the rps packages are cheap :

You should informed what asked. You are fond of cars right? When you buy a renault and ask the vendor: which is the top speed? Being big is thanks to the trust people have in your company. You might have great hardware, great connectivity, work like a chinese and be as geek as you can be and if people dont pay for your products your company will be selling hamburguers in the street

Oles you are not being helpful at all. Dont use the same silly argument of saying : you pretend to pay for a Renault and get a Ferrari. You fix the price and we pay without saying a word. If you consider your prices are too low, increase them.

That way you will even loose more customers than you are currently doing by promising a bandwidth you dont provide.

I think ovh´s policy is to hide the real numbers of bandwidth in order to "induce" customers into confusion by your fancy terms like SLA, and similar ****. I am more than used to this crappy terms ( actually they are my bread and butter)

I wonder why someone does not sue you as :

# Unlimited 100Mbps connection
is written many times. Most likely is that your servers have a 100mbit NIC.

I'm glad to see that you compare the RPS with a real server. It means
that we did a great work

The same question would be "Why would I buy SLA Business 100Mbps with my
miniSP ?".

The anwser is "what kind of garantee are you looking for ?". So you have
the ansser, not me.

Oles, That obviously still does not answer the question about the RPS bandwidth.. Why would someone spend atleast 49.99 on a PRO server when they are merley looking to spend 9.99 on an RPS?. Simple question what are the limitations on the RPS?, Same as the kimsufi or not?.

If you are looking for the garanteed bandwidth look here:
