Proof of Identity & Proof of Address are required to have an OVH account, so you will have to validate your account anyway.

If you want to pay with credit card, you have two options:

a) Process your credit card transaction directly with OVH
b) Process your credit card transaction via PayPal

Sometimes, when processing CC directly with OVH, due to antifraud policy, they may ask you to send a scan or photo of the credit card(blurring or hiding the 2 central digits groups, of course); if you pay via paypal, you won't have to do that, and that small difference can save you up to a working day.

Hi.

1. Just write your number with no spaces or hyphens, preceded by your international prefix(+385)

2. There's no VPS specially suited for gameservers; it all depends on the hardware requirements provided by your gameserver software.

3. Currently, neither VPS nor Public Cloud support IPv6. It is expected in a future, but no ETA. As a workaround, you can get a free IPv6 tunnel with TunnelBroker. Some time ago I measured the response time against all TunnelBroker nodes from OVH servers in RBX & BHS, and, if I remember well, the best for RBX(and probably GRA & SBG) as London, while the best for BHS was Toronto.

The Proof of Identity and the Proof of address must match the service owner(you). For the payment, if you are using a friend's credit card, use Paypal, so you don't have to pass through OVH anti-fraud controls on credit card transactions. On Paypal, you can use your friend's credit card without having Paypal account.

Is it possible that I register with my info and pay with my friend credit card? Then i must provide his ID or mine?

Hi.

1. It's just to prevent fraud. Once you place your first order, you will be asked to send a scan of a government-issued ID(ID, passport, or driving license) along with a proof of address (public services bill or bank statement with address). Identity validation may take about 2 or 3 business days.

2. There are bad comments from such users; most of bad comments, I'd say. There may also be users who legitimately are not happy with OVH services, either for technical problems or for bad customer support. I've been working with OVH for some years now, and can say that there has been no major problems that cannot be sorted our, but the technical support(either from ES/CA/FR) is not as good as expected. If you know how to manage your VPS, you should have no problem.

3. You only have to pay a one-time setup fee. That will do forever; at least, while you don't park the IP.

4. OVH.ie should be fine for croatian customers.

1. What about that "identity" confirmation when you order for the first time?

2. I see a lot of "bad" comments about VPS servers in general here. I think that is because people used to get unmanaged server and then dont know how to properly manage it?

3. About IPv4 adress - what I think is that when I buy it I need to pay it just one time, not monthly? True or?

4. If I am from Croatia, from what OVH site (domain) I need to make my order?

Hello, im new on OVH and i have some questions.

1. Im from Croatia and I want to buy VPS service but when i get to register on site (ovh.ie?) it does not accept my phone number.

2. "RAM powered VPS" for some gameserver? Yes? No?

3. Does "RAM powered VPS" have some "extra" IPv6 adresses or just IPv4 adress?
