Try to login your server through KVM console and disable server firewall which is installed on your server. Might be firewall is causing this issues on your server.

My server is down from my side, although it can be pinged...

I cannot connect either from browser or via FTP, all domains hosted on this server cannot be accessed. I have Plesk installed there.

Please advise...
