No more than for 15 minutes, then a channel was shaped to ~ 1 GBps permanently.
Though it can be increased by ordering the bandwidth option.

What about the network card module, it is not included in the recent distributions, like Debian or Centos and should be compiled manually, however, OVH provides its own kernel with this module.

I believe that with the bandwidth upgrade option it will be able to get 3 GBps guaranteed.
But if you plan to use non-OVH kernel, you have to compile ixgbe module manually.
The latest working version is 4.1.2, I spent a lot of time to get to work the network interface, until I not tried to compile an older version.
How short time do you see 4.5 GBps ? I want to use with tv live streaming. Did not consider about kernels, as I have not come to that part. Do you have some recommended OS for live streaming?

https://www.ovh.ie/dedicated_servers...th-upgrade.xml here on left hand side:
3 Gbps
(mini HG, HG, BIG HG,
HOST-XX-H, FS-48/72/MAX)
But on
https://www.ovh.ie/dedicated_servers...6-HOST-32H.xml detail page:
Burst 1 Gbps.
As far as I understand, server must be able to handle at most 3Gbit connection when activated as an option, but on details page it saysd 1 Gbit. I called staff and he said it must be a typo at server detail page. Can someone please confirm is above server can handle 3 Gbit connectiion?
