It's normal, and a good practice, that, on a new installation, you set your own password instead on the random password set by the installation system.

Putty won't work on a standard Windows system. If you want SSH access to your Windows server, you may use OpenSSH under Cygwin, or Bitvise SSH Server. Each one has it's own advantages and disadvantages.

Hello, I'm trying to access my VPS for the first time, but I'm having a few troubles.
Whenever I try accessing it using windows Remote Desktop Application, it gives me a error message saying that I need to change my VPS password to access it for the first time.
When I use Putty, for some reason my connection is denied.
Could you help me?
