What you are not understanding: OVH puts no firewall rules at all: you have all ports open.

When I say a pakistan ISP block, I mean they are blocking some ports. The reason may be unclear, but I've seen varrios (sometimes) nonsense blokings ISPs around the world put into their networks, so this one won't surprise me.

Can you make a table to determine what does the user who can or can't access have in common? Probably, users who can't access may be on the same ISP, or same ISP service type.

Actually, SoYouStart staff is fine, they don't put any kind of port blocking; all firewall configuration is up to you. This is probably due to a block on the client side, say, your users from pakistan; probably their ISP has some blocking rule.

188.165.205.221:27016 = same soyoustart people from pakistan can connect without any problems

but

151.80.47.104:27016 = i can connect but pakistan users say me its not responding.

i dont have iptables rules or service installed on server side. if it was client side block? how come they can access my website

www.egcmasti.com which points to 151.80.47.104 this should also be blocked? also the game panel also works fine on port 80 this should have been blocked... so why is 27016 blocked?

i need a reply from OVH Staff as why they have rules placed for 27016 or what ever ports ? i dont have access to that control panel.

need advise seriously i am using server for no benefit ...

I have a soyoustart GAME-1 plan.

i have done setup for just 3 server cs 1.6 for hosting

27015 main port = works fine but 27016 = works for some and does work for some? why?

when i asked soyoustart helpdesk they said they don't block it. But the server is running on 27016 , i can connect but pakistan users can't they complain server is not responding whereas they can connect 27015 just fine without any issues. which means the IP is not blocked by their respective ISP.

Ay advise or suggestion what can be done to troubleshoot this kind of network related problems ?
