Using the BREXIT as a reason for the high price hike, stating that this is for NEW CUSTOMERS and NEW ORDERS. For us this is not the case we are a long term subscriber i feel that this is unfair

Hi I am a long term customer with multiple services please can you explain why we have been given a 30% increase on our month on month subscription our Nic Handle is CD1219** can you please look into the tickets I’ve been sending to your support teams as they are using the BREXIT as a reason for the high price hike stating that this is for NEW CUSTOMERS and NEW ORDERS. For us this is not the case we are a long term subscriber i feel that this is unfair on our part. We are still currently part of the EU as the transition for us to leave is not yet in place also you have UK based operations so BREXIT should not affect your long term loyal UK based customers. Please can you shed some light on this situation as I feel im getting not enough information from your Support Team?

I would rather risk the pain of my cards or bank. The fact you have picked 20% unless it's very unlucky I would expect something like 16.87& etc... But no, you jump on the band wagon and round up... I wonder who rounds downs then spurts sh*t about customer loyalty....

Also, surely the reason for price increase isn't to do with running costs but actually because as we are paying in GBP and then it's been converted to EUR which is where the money is being lost? Perhaps instead of sending the money to EUR, invest in some UK properties with the GBP payments, then when the GBP finally increases in value in some years, sell the properties and then you'll get more EUR for your GBP.
Please raise a Support Ticket with our team via www.ovh.co.uk/contact nd we will look into this for you,

I've had an OVH server (not SYS, Kimsufi) transferred from .co.uk account to .ie from a friend. Will this affect me also? Paying in EUR.

Thanks!

Just had this email too..... I totally understand increasing prices for new orders as they have to purchase equipment at the higher prices but I feel that increase existing customers prices for hardware that they have already purchased is a bit of a money grab!

I'll be moving in the new year now.

Thanks,

Thomas

It will apply to all servers.

I was just gonna close a quarter cab in the UK and move it all to OVH, so glad I have just got this email now. The cab is staying!
