Out of space on /

Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/md1 5162728 4887296 13176 100% /

/var/log is where they are kept. You can also configure logrotate or specify a different location for the logs if needed.

The way I would deal with this is to backup everything important onto your free backup FTP and then reinstall the OS from OVH's control panel but this time specify your own partitions, this is what I always do when I order from OVH.
Looks like I am out of space on / When the server was built by the datacenter, they put everything (except home) on the / partition which is less than 5gig. This is not enough space for all system logs and software.
Is there anyway to resolve this issue?
