If you cap your speeds to 8Mbps and can upload that 24/7, you'll be able to push 2.5TB per month.

Yep Elvis £10 GBP, 100Mbps but if your 95th percentile (WIKI) goes above 8Mbps then you get put into low priority mode ("capped").

So if you don't wanted to get "capped" then I'd keep your transfer speed below 8Mbps, although going over for a sec or two isn't going to hurt, keeping it below 8 would be the safest option.

EDIT:

Current RPS 95th percentile

My RPS doesn't get used that much, mainly development before it goes onto my live machine (SP Mini).

Two different servers in two different OVH data centres on two different switches and still get max speed so I can't see it being a network issue but if both of you are getting it then who knows?

The RPS bottle necks after a while hence the 9MB/s average rather than 11/12 which it should get but I usually put that down the fact of its network hard drive

Bandwidth / Traffic
Network connection: 100Mbps
Bandwidth type: Standard
OVH/OVH B/W: 100 Mbps
OVH/Internet B/W: 100 Mbps
Internet/OVH B/W : 100 Mbps
Traffic: unlimited
Current months traffic: 489 GB (informative)

bw not on low so could be a fault since it started going crazzy since last night.

Have you checked your 95th percentile to see if your over your limit?

The above image shows I'm currently at ~8.5Mbps 95th percentile, if I were on a Kimsufi L server I would of been capped but thats from a PRO server so no cap.

My server is an XL.

Its running really really slow tho, max speeds of like 10kbs either on ftp or if using firefox on it!

Secondly the bandwidth issue could be a few things, have you hit your 95th percentile limit? the kimsufi servers now come with different bandwidth limits...

Code:
L: 8 Mbps
XL & 2XL:	10 Mbps
3XL, 4XL & 8XL:	12 Mbps
After you hit your limit your put into low priority mode.

In your manager you should see something like the following which can give you an idea if your in low priority (I don't have a kimsufi server so I don't know what it will normally say)
Code:
Bandwidth type: ???
Traffic: ???
A great thread to help you understand (if you don't already) the new bandwidth schemes can be found here:

Having a few problems with this server, the server crashed last night, its all back up and running now, but there are some issues with it.

Firstly there was 2 USB hard drives installed on it now there is only the original one! the new second one has just disappeared.

Secondly since it crashed I am having major speed issues.
I normally get ftp speeds of at least 600kbs, but since the server got sorted last night, i am only getting speeds of 10kbs, this is not an ISP issue as I can ftp from a different server at over 600kbs without issues!

Also the download speeds are really really bad.

Can someone please advise whats happening.

Awaiting response, thanks in advnace!
