Does it show using lsusb?
Hi
Had the USB drive mounted the other day then decided to wipe the primary hard drive and re-install Centos and Cpanel as there was a bit of an issue.
USB drive after the reinstall isnt showing up at all now.
I tried to mount it although got this
[root@server ~]# mount /dev/sdc1 /mnt/sda1
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sdc1,
missing codepage or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or so
Would it be possible to mount the USB drive to the filesystem to any directory like /backupusb so I can setup backups to it? If so what is the way to do it because I cant remember at all.
