Limited bandwidth per connection?
i think they ment you to put a file on your server to let others test the speed your server can give in upload but if you solved maybe explain the solution as it could be usefull in the future for others?
I'm talking about uploading and not downloading so a sample file won't shed any light!
However, I think I might have solved the problem.
Bits and bytes... doh!

Speed test is only measuring your speed to a particular location.
The internet is a web. Not 1 cable
As above. Provide download file for our testing.

Can you provide a test download ?
We have two dedicated servers with OVH, SP Best Of and SP Max.
Using FTP and upload scripts (CGI/Perl) the maximum speed we can get to our server is pretty much 100KBs. If we use two connections from the same ISP then we are sharing 100KBs.
Now I know that sounds like it's our ISP but broadband speed checkers should we have nearly 500Kbs available.
They are both Centos Plesk 8.6 machines, and I haven't configured any limitations at all.
Any ideas?
Yours,
Chris
PS Apologies if this has been asked a million times!
