Yes you could use the MRTG in the OVH Manager, if you did not want to install anything.

I use MRTG to create nice graphs along with this http://freshmeat.net/projects/mrtgtraffgen/, which gives you the bandwidth used during a given period of time.

I also love vnstat it's an easy amazing way to review what bandwidth has been going out/in

Though if anyone knows an program or something to show how much speed the server has left at any given point would be awesome :P

for example

59.75MiBs / 100MiBs [57.68%]

That'd be awesome... any ideas?

VnStat Rules!

With a nice PHP frontend you can make sexy images such as this one below

Hi,

You can try using http://humdi.net/vnstat/ (VNSTAT), and if you want an web frontend to go with it try http://www.sqweek.com/sqweek/index.php?p=1 . This should work perfect!

Hi guys,

I currently rent a Kimsufi with a 2TB monthly limit (Traffic plan). The manager interface is OK for checking my usage, but as it only updates once a day it's not as powerful as I'd like.

Currently my workaround to this is a script that reads data from /proc/net/dev, but this requires I keep a monthly bandwidth total somewhere to compare it against (or reboot my server every month...)

I wonder if anybody has a better solution? Where do OVH do their monitoring from? Is there an API to their data?
