disable recycle bin?

No probs, but Linux calls it "Deleted Items" not "Recycle Bin"

And you don't want to "disable it", you want to "bypass it".

Linux terminology is funky sometimes, it might be worth you jumping onto Ubuntu forums, they have many "setup guides" and "perfect setup" docs.

First off, I think you'd be much better of posting in the Ubuntu forums as those really do get a lot of attention from people well oriented in the subject, and secondly, it would really seem like a necessary component of the OS so I don't know if it really is possible, but who am I to say
