Point main domain to subdirectory?

Well I don't know much about OVH's hosting but as far as forwarding goes, you should be able to set it up in your domain manager to point the root domain somewhere else, or you should be able to do it somewhere from the control panel of the server. I know in cPanel and Plesk this is easily doable, but then again I'm not sure what type of interface you manage your website with.

Hello,

I have a 90Plan hosting account and I would like to have my main domain (also registered with OVH) pointing to a subdirectory of /www rather than webspace root.

I have tried redirection, but I don't like the results -- the ugly browser hover urls and the page wrapper, for example.

What I'm aiming for is the same transparency as when a domain points to a subdirectory under a MultiDomain setup, but how do I achieve the same with the main domain?

The reason for wanting this is to keep the webspace root tidy, with each site in its own subdirectory, to simplify maintenance and reduce the risk of silly mistakes.

Thanks for any hints.
