one reason someone would want to is software restrictions, i had a similar issue but i worked around it.

nobody has successfully used vkvm yet so a VM is your best shot at xp.

Why would you want to?

You can order a Windows Server license, not XP.

XP is for Deskstops, not servers.

If you really need XP, get a server with Virtualisation and install it in a V.M.
