eg max ftp speeds slow too
OVH are definately not limiting any speeds, i can easily max out my 100Mbit connection by transfering between servers with OVH and some i have in Germany.

People don't seem to realise it could be any number of things causing slow speeds:
- Bad routing to/from the remote server
- Lack of capacity at the remote server
- Congestion on route to/from the remote server
- Not enough capacity on route to/from the remote server
- The remote servers general inability to supply the speed (high resource usage, high disk i/o, hardware problem)
- The local servers inability to take a fast speed (high resource usage, high disk i/o, hardware problem)
- The remote servers software not being good enough for a high speed connection
- The local servers software not being good enough for a high speed connection
Its not a simple case of OVH just not supply the connection required. OVH have plenty of capacity, over 700Gbps now if I remember rightly. There is no way OVH is overloaded.

I am getting much more speed than this on my little kimsufi so the problem is not with the ovh 'linkage'
From what server? From where? You can't judge speed on a single speed test, try several.
