I can see OVH's point of view: They cannot control non-OVH personnel, ie., from giving bad/incorrect information or going rouge. What happens is instant.
On the other hand, a community supported Wiki would be ideal. It can be setup to require approval before making it visible, so OVH could double-check for accuracy and whether it applies to its services.
Such checking would take a lot less time compared to writing their own, and could also encompass a wider variety of topics, ie.: "How to use IPv6 on Centos" vs "... on Debian", and OVH specific: "How to recompile an OVH-based kernel".
I know OVH already has a Guide section, but they're quite poorly written. Frankly, I only use them to check for OVH-specific details and the rest all comes from third party sources, this forum or past experience.
Given that, I'm +1 for a community Wiki at OVH.
