Yes, you are right that none of our kernels by default are modular, including both Netboot and the kernels installed on the OS's.

The guide appears to be down and some of the links to kernel's were out of date, but IainK has down a step by step guide, http://forum.ovh.co.uk/showpost.php?p=2985&postcount=2

You're probably using a non-modular kernel. Quickest way to find out is

Code:
grep CONFIG_MODULE /boot/config-$(uname -r)
Otherwise, grab the latest version of iptables (Netfilter).

I'm trying to enable RAB in APF on lenny but get the above error.

Tried various kernels via netboot but always the same error.

Anyone else experienced this who found a workaround/fix?
Can't find any answers via the usual routes.
