You can run several copies of that as well. In terms of a script that actually manages the instances.. I don't know. But really it isn't hard to make a bash/php script that can handle it with web UI.

What you've just described sounds like you just want to run your own shoutcast server. Therefore download shoutcast server?

I know how to stream to a shoutcast server -- I just want to know if there is any free shoutcast scripts i could install on my server. What i want to do is stream from my local comp to my server then out to the people that listen to the stream I've seen some scripts but there paid one's. I want "FREE" ones at the moment see how things go then i might start hosting for others in the future once i've done tests etc

What are you looking for exactly?

The shoutcast server can be downloaded from the official website. Are you looking for some auto dj too? Or are you using local software.. such as winamp DSP?

You say "script" .. are you looking for some way to integrate shoutcast streams into your website?

They are all free, at least all the ones I know of.
Icecast2 + icegenerator is a good start
