Neither of us are sure whether you did pay for the inactive period (we're not staff), but its a possibility (think: OVH can't use the server at all and your data is still on it, so to them that's just holding the server until you pay, meaning that time could count towards your billing period).

Possibly, yes

Or its some kind of counting mishap within the software

Unless an extension of 2 days was granted? That's the only explanation I can think of.

I thought so as well, but the time line doesn't match up (5 days unpaid, 24 days remaining so there are 2 days unaccounted for).

I reactivated my existing Dedicated Server on the 11th August:

Dear Sir or Madam,

We have registered that your OVH account has been funded.

Your server ns20xxxx.ovh.net has just been reactivated.

But I recently received the following:

Services expiring in less than 7 days' time:
ns20xxxx.ovh.net:
Dedicated Server / 2009-09-04 20:38:18

- That's just 24 days of 'service'.

Can someone at OVH confirm this is correct?
