no no, that's apple. linux just sucks it back in with the sheer power of its kernel, no magnetism required (which requires a metallic ethernet cable - something apple has realized is an issue).

Well, this is fun. 4 times today the server has lost connection to the net & the error displayed has been that the connection was lost (de-synced)...

What the hell am i supposed to do about this? :<, It's causing erratic speeds as well
