Try this...

Open the file in Notepad (or another text editor) and add the following line right after the line "SETLOCAL" (3rd line from top):

Code:

set path=%path%;%systemdrive%\perl\bin

So it reads like:

Code:

@rem = '--*-Perl-*--
@echo off
SETLOCAL
set path=%path%;%systemdrive%\perl\bin

..(etc)..

See if that helps. I'm guessing that your path hasn't been updated to reflect where you've installed Perl (which usually is C:\perl\). This will add it to the path for you...

I have it enabled on my Linux box and turned out to be quite helpful. Detected some failures on the 2nd HD and eventually the loss of RAID1 (only one HD used). Wouldn't have noticed it as quick otherwise... I like

For those who haven't tried this tool before, RTM (Real Time Monitoring) is a lightweight software that runs on your server (on Linux using the crontab and the Scheduled Tasks in MS Windows - Beta version for Windows at the moment) and collects information periodically from your server and sends it to your manager. It's written in Perl in both platforms and it uses local tools installed on your server for Linux and WMI for MS Windows.

This way, if you check the section in the manager:

OVH Manager >> your server >> Server State >> Real time Monitoring (RTM)

you'll get a summary of real-time information about your server such as:
OS name and model,
server usage, hard drives usage,
total server uptime among others

Here you have access to other sections with more detailed information:

RTM hardware: info about your motherboard, RAM mem, CPU and PCI devices
RTM software: monitoring of well-known services, such as SSH, Bind, Terminal Services, httpd, ....
RTM backdoors: this tools detects some unusual services running on the server and can be a useful tool to detect trojan and other security problems

We would love to hear your opinions about it and suggestion (and bugs if you find any ). Feel free to install it and check how it works: it would take you 2 minutes and it's for free!

For instructions on how to do it and more information, check the following guide:

http://help.ovh.com/RealTimeMonitoring

Enjoy!
