What application you are using that has a specific partion table layout requirenment?
All what matters is the FS, unless you use RAW disk.
But then the partition table isn't even used.

No, but it will be. Does that matter? I've setup softraids on OVH gear in the past using the same disk configuration. Its just these disks happened to come with GPT partitions

I'm seeing the following error on sdb and sdc when I run fdisk -l (but not on sda or sdd)
WARNING: GPT (GUID Partition Table) detected on '/dev/sdd'! The util fdisk doesn't support GPT. Use GNU Parted.
I used parted to change the mklabel from GPT to MSDOS, but I still see the error
I can't use GPT partitions with my application, can someone tell me how to delete the GPT partition so that I can simply use fdisk?

NOTE: I could dd the disk, but its huge and dont want to wait
the mklabel command only seems to apply on the boot disk, sda

any info or help would be just great
and im sorry if this is in wrong section
and wow thsi one doesnt look like its ovh`s fault
hehe
