I used it to return a HG machine they kindly gave me for a month to evaluate for my company.

Turned out two EGs were sufficient, and much cheaper.

Ah, a year or so ago it used to be different.

You have 2 ways actually, either you fill in a procedure to close any service or you use this button in the manager (for servers only).

You can just tick a tick box and then click 'validate'. no fax or snail mail.

Personally I wouldn't bother, since it requires you to fax or snail mail the form. I have no fax machine, and I refuse to use snail mail for something I can use e-mail to do the same job

Used it myself on a couple of occasion.

I did it once, just something good to do, beats getting reminder emails and allows OVH to turn around servers for other people quicker.

I used it with two that I had transferred data off, I saw no need to keep the server and it prevents anyone from abusing it should they get access to it.

How many people actually use this feature?



You don't get a refund.. you just return your server early. I am going to use it but like an hour before it was due for renewal.

It would be interesting to know how many people have used it?
