If you want to view everything Google has about you then you can go to:
www.google.com/dashboard
I found out I had a Orkut Account and Blogger Account.
make sense....my google account is not exactly recent
@Marks: I just signed up to Google with a new e-mail address for Analytics and found that Google Web History is enabled by default.
This may not be the case with older Google accounts but it certainly seems to be the case with any account opened recently.
nice one.
Though, Google Web History is a feature that you have to enable in the first place in order to keep track of your browsing history.
In any case, it's interesting.
I'm sure there will be many a user here that has signed up to Google Analytics. A lot of you may even have created a Google account with that purpose alone.
I'm writing to inform everyone about Google's Web History and how it logs every search you ever make to Google. From what I can see it even logs what you search for when you are logged out (assuming you haven't logged in as another user since).
But it's really easy to disable.
Login to google and click on My Account in the header. From there click on 'View data stored with this account'. Under the Web History area find the link titled 'Remove items or clear web history'. When that page has loaded click on 'Clear entire web history' and confirm it.
Now Google will have placed your Web History in paused state, and will not log your searches until you choose to resume, which I don't recommend you do.
If, like me, you don't want a company like Google holding information about every single search you have ever made and linking that to your personally identifiable e-mail address then you will want to get this done asap.
Hope it helps some of ya!
