this is my 2nd server from ovh, got it all up and running nicely, well worth the wait in my opinion, for the specs and price top notch

I've had notification of the bandwidth mod, which was the first step on my first server, but then I recieved a second email with user and pass to access it.

After contacting CS, it turns out the second email was "sent" and it had arrived in my manager inbox. After all the emails I have had from OVH, bizarrely enough, teh one email I was loking for actually made it into junk!!

So I am not a content bunny.

I hope it was worth the wait I'm sure it will be.

also, what is the delay on the EG 08 server. ive got some spare cash, so was thinking about getting this. would mean i can get rid of the one at my house

also, me and my partner, we run a small independent company. at the moment, we transfer about 3-5TB a month. would this be demand as excessive?

To be honest wish I saw this post sooner lol. I ordered mine Saturday night so I just am not happy with the status but I will wait, just don't know how long I can wait without losin patience. So far no approximate date has been given just an approximate delay.

So what available actually means, is if it's available it'll be available. But if it's not available, it won't be available I guess. So don't believe these numbers.

Im very disappointed coz last week i spoke to one of their staff he said i will receive it end of the week now today wen i rang em they are saying we never give a date or dnt say wen ur server will be ready... This jst put me of i jst said OK n hung up...This really bad they make promises then deny...

Well it seems that there will be no server for me today then..... I assume they do not work after 5pm. I have sent an email to support letting them know how annoying it is that they cannot stick to a date. I do not mind waiting but when they give a date they should stick to it!

Shame this wasnt notified to me before I made the order. It is nice to have this brought to my attention, but as far as I was concerned at the point of ordering the server it would be available within 72 hours. If my order is delayed then that is not really fair.
