My RPS was my favourite server at one point... it really was... It was just the final straw for me when they done that 'test' and lowered them all to 100Mbps without notice... anyways, they resolved that, we kissed and made up, all is good again... as I have said, will never bad mouth OVH, fantastic company for the money, and if you can keep within your BW limits and you live in EU, there's no other company that comes close! but....

I had almost double the speed that every single one of our customers 1Gbps servers had on my little 100Mbps eye-scuzzy, which was strange.... maybe I was lucky, or maybe traffic shaping gone wrong at it's best.

but... I have been doing some testing, and with our new US servers (and several others) I noticed the speed of one mirror being faster than the other.... agiven one protocol is ftp:// on one file, but it wouldn't make a thread 2x as fast.

ftp://ftp.ovh.net/made-in-ovh/bzImage/big.file
vs
http://proof.ovh.net/1Gb.dat

Anyone else find this with their severs? (non-ovh servers please, and preferably non-EU)

a bit more than 4 counting 30 days more like 6-8 some I think you not notice a few. Also not everytime they put an incident

aha. p.s i uploaded a graph of my load avg. look at the blips in yours and mine apart from the hour time difference

EDIT: I think this is going to be another massive downtime.
Le spare vient d'être mis en place. Nous redémarrons le serveur iscsi =

Well, there were 2 issues with filerz86 in the last couple of days, 3826 and 3811:
http://uk.babelfish.yahoo.com/transl...rUrl=Translate

Compensation for an RPS if it were to be offered would be equivalent to the amount offered for a kimsufi, which is up to 10% of the servers monthly cost. And RPS is under £10 per month.

If you server is business critical then I really do recommend getting a Pro-server instead.

Just litespeed webserver, this isn't related to my RPS but related to the iscsi.

Hi

No problem on iscsi86, if there is an issue, it is with your server specifically and not to do with the SAN.

We've had this problem for months and i've never got a proper reason for the downtime, ive asked for compensation but they just won't reply after i send all the facts.

i gotta say i never get this kinda issue on my RPS, iv had the occasional failure of install and had an intervention on, but never issues as bad as this.

Oh i didn't realise I thought we were the only . Considering I've had the best server loads in two days (san speeds) i dont see any relation to overloaded comment in the ticket.

Well as this is the 3rd time this month or close to I dont think i'll continue RPS if this takes more than 1 hour from now. Considering its been all day

Dont use RPS for time critical junk, get a kim

you're not the only one using that SAN. It should be up and running very soon, the data's just been imported.
