tracert starts timing out after it hits a router owned by Mzima, it doesn't respond to ping, but opening lynx and pointing it to cpan.org redirects to www.cpan.org.

So I don't think there's a network problem, they're probably just dropping ICMP packets.

I am installing a script that requires getting some files from the cpan server but the script keeps failing saying it can't connect, as a test I tried pinging cpan.org from my box but I am unable to ping it, no idea why.
Can anyone else do me a quick test and try pinging cpan.org (IP 64.235.248.110)

I cant ping it either from home, using a browser i get redirected to www.cpan.org which is not the same, although using the ip in a browser does work and gets me to the file repository
