Whats your opinion on this server? Would you say it's had better days?

Any error at all in the logs of the server regarding a faulty CPU? otherwise, it must be a software issue.

Could you confirm weather it is right after a restart of the service that all the Apache processes are getting that CPU usage? In other words, no matter the webserver gets any users load, the processes are always taking that much CPU?

I have quite a few websites running from c05g's which have nothing like that in terms of CPU usage.

This website was running on a 512Mb RAM and 1.6GHz before I switched it here, [and it ran fine, just wanted a better pipe]... not 2GB RAM and a 2.8GHz processor.

You say 50% though, which I wouldn't be bothered about, but 87.6% and 101.5% - that's acceptable?

I am just saying.. I have several hundred servers and never seen anyone of them with such high loads for those processes.

Apache uses loads of ram and CPU.
Take a look at nginx it reduced my servers cpu from 30% to 2% and ram from 50% to 5%.

The kimsufi C-05G could not run my website because of cpu usage i now have Q-1T which runs the main site.
I now use the kimsufi C-05G for images and static files as it requires almost no processing

so I had an intervention on a kimsufi server which took 60hours for the RAM to be, after a week of the server not performing correctly.

This is the cpu: model name : Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 2.60GHz

This is a top result.

PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND

Thats 87.6% of the processor being used. yet the ONLY thing running on this server is a website maurispace.com

It's in my professional opinion either the CPU or MOBO is knackered, although rescue-pro mode says otherwise as the test completes without errors, what do you think?
