I do find it irritating that you just give me a link to the place thats bloody bookmarked as my hompage coz its so unreliable.

Rather, post an explanation in more detail. Why when and send all users ON the (lol failerz) filerz and e-mail when your planning updates.

cat-peesh, haha i'm killing myself toight. In basic : you need a system that informs users (how minor they might be, yes us little guys) thats your planning updates on X, for X, because of X.

And another blip 10 mins at 17:00GMT. Blips = loadavg of 30-90. You need top running before the blip because, well it cant load it when theres no disk to see.

Farewell for this RPS, now only 71 to expire xX

It's not in improper english, it's in french. You can get the improper english version here:

Doesn't do bad job of translating, but you can then contact us for more information on an incident.

I think you should go for a VPS if that's your price range.

Think I'll be going to another host when I get time to migrate, I only use my server for a few bits and pieces, but its down too often to be of use. I wonder how many users are on iscsi86?

mmgRay

Well, time to start looking for some other host then, isn't it?

eekcage
04-02-2010, 13:34
..think you'll find isci86 is buggered again. I dont use 1/2 the traffic shown in your graph and i get all the same downtime blips

(load avg)

mmgRay
04-02-2010, 13:27
Well I cannot access SSH, we don't have any php scripts running that take a long time to execute and the reboot option in the manager doesn't seem to work either.

yonatan
04-02-2010, 13:22
Does not look like a packet flood of some sort,
try rebooting to rescue-pro and run hardware tests .. cpu ram etc ..

also, you might be overloading your server ( runaway php script? )

do you have load averages from the last 24 hours? ( you can use "sar" to get these.)

mmgRay

I never know how to read MRTG graphs and I can't access any error logs.

yonatan

Have a look at your MRTG graph. Anything unusual?
